Hello, I’m Grace

I’m an artist living by the coast of England.

When I was working as an actor, I always need a job to keep going whilst I auditioned for the next role. Most of the time I was working in coffee shops or Nannying. Every time I got a job I’d have to leave for a long time, before starting all over again. A few years into living this cycle I decided that I wanted something steady, but I also wanted to keep doing something I was passionate about.

It was then that I started Pencil & Grace.

I’d always loved painting, particularly watercolours, and I was inspired by the illustrations I’d loved as a child. I set up painting other people’s family and friends, things quickly escalated onto much larger projects.

I moved out of London and headed to the coast with my husband. We had a little girl in 2021. Now I paint full time.
